I have had an intermittent problem where the machine empties (fully) at the end of a cycle but then has a 4 flash error and won’t start again.
I know this can be due to dirt on the water level sensor and with some trial and error found that running the test cycle a few times with just detergent in (each cycle ending with the machine empty but still getting the 4 flash error) and then leaving the machine for a couple of days clears the problem for a while.
Well the problem is back again but this time when I try to run the test cycle, instead of immediately starting to fill, it starts pumping out, like a normal cycle does and then stops, giving the 4 flash error.

Well, it started working normally again after a week or so of not starting even the test cycle. After another week or so it’s giving the 4 flash error again but IS currently working on the test cycle.
I’m guessing there is more than one thing going wrong here.
