Participantover the last couple of days, our washing machine seems to have developed some sort of bug, it seems to be washing the clothes continuously on all settings bar the spin/drain one, ive just put on the 15min quick wash with nothing in the barrel and it seems to just keep on washing..any advice would be greatly appreciated.. the model number is E-NR:WAE24166GB/06…Its a Bosch classixx 6 vario perfect

Probably the heater has failed, is the water in the drum getting warm?

As Martin said it’s almost certainly the heater or the connection to it

“Standard?” No, you need to buy one that fits that model of course. (I don’t understand the question TBH :rolls:)

I’m in Ireland, could that be the problem ?, i found a spare element on the bosch site for …€67..
WEA24166GB/06 is the model number.. I thought getting parts for my own job (network engineer for a large multinational)was a pain in the arse… -
