Hi . Anyone know who repairs Moffat gas ovens in Berkshire?? My customer has a moffat built in gas oven where there is no spark to either the grill or oven, there is also the problem of no gas too! In other words you can turn on the oven or the grill and no gas comes to the burners and no spark either- a slight disadvantage to say the least. Any ideas? Flame failure devise? But would that stop the sparks ……..Ah and that is the question. No idea myself, Anyone explain this to me please? Thanks.

Was scrapped, not surprised. But this is interesting: he bought a Samsung electric single door oven model BT621VDST which, as it turns out, is a kind of single oven with a special tray that turns it into a double oven so the grill can be on as well as the ` bottom` oven- all very complicated and trust him to get it- a demo model, with the `destruction booklet` missing-bloody great! Turns out that these things are really meant for a 16.5 amp circuit and not your usual ordinary plug 13 amp jobby even though looking on line the destructions mention the cable and a plug but fail to mention they mean a European plug to match a European house wiring socket which is 16.5 amps (looked it up on I/net) and not 13. I got him to get his electrician to get it checked and changed as necessary or better still a trip back to the shop and a swop over for something familar.
