    Hi,

    I have a 18 month old (out of warranty) Beko CDA539FS-2.

    The symptoms are : with it only being set on min setting the fridge will start freezing up, setting it 1 – 6 will speed up the process. The compressor and the evap fan run non stop, giving no time for the fridge section to defrost. The radiator in the freezer is not frozen up.Freezer section appears fine.

    Things that have been checked/done :
    -Full 48hr defrost
    -all door seals Ok
    – Fridge Drainage tube is clear
    – accessible connections checked for loose wiring etc
    -replaced PCB control board and electronic board under dial in fridge.

    After doing these things symptoms are still the same.

    Any help diagnosing the fault is greatly appreciated to find out if its worth the fix.

    Low on gas, not getting cold enough to knock off thermostat, so appliance runs continuously hence the over cold fridge.

    Thanks for that.

    Would that explain the reason why, i can only describe as a “Mooing” sound has not been heard for a long time coming from the fridge (i assume gases being pushed around)?
