ParticipantOk background:
Initial Callout poor washing.
Noticed not heating, checked basics, found nothing major. Pig of an uninstall so went back, ordered an ntc to try first, and element was out of stock at time.
Fitted ntc as soon as cust had had machine made workable on, and no difference, checked resistances and both seemed similar but left it on anyway. Checked element and element stat had blown. Checked PCB too and bingo, spotted a nice lump bulging out of one of the black relays.
Ordered new pcb and element and eventually element came in. returned to fit and presto all working and getting lovely and hot. Reinstalled it and left it running and worked fine for about a week, and now cust called back and says its not heating.
Didn’t have a lot of time today so could only drop the front panel off the base, its in a very cold kitchen, and element seems to get to around about 25 degrees if you touch the outside of it (after quickly unplugging it first ;)) whereas it was almost freezing before starting a program, but neither on 35 degree wash or when I popped in on way back after next job during the 70 degree intensive did it get any warmer.
Theres next to nothing in these machines componentwise so really starting to scratch my head :/

Check that there is enough water going into the machine and also being pushed unto the top spray arms,You will need to have the unit full out and the top supply pipe visible.

definitely seems to take long enough filling! top spray arms were cleared of a load of crap when fitted the pcb last week, but will check. base is well covered, its sorta salt cap height… cant think of what else it could be ?? Is it possible it could need the other board too?

Ok brian, seems to be plenty of water going thru top arms, and changed other pcb card too with no avail.
Has anyone got any tech info? @Electrofix?

Possible wiring break at the elbow at the bottom of the door?
