    Hi,
I have just received a replacement thermal cut out for my AEG oven.

The problem is i have seen this image:
cooling fan and it appears to show both blue wires going to the fan part, but i took pictures of my old one for reference and it has blue and white wires attached.

This is my second Thermal cut out i will be installing in this oven (1st replacement worked and lasted about 2 years).I took pictures of the first one which was the manufacturer installed piece that broke and just swapped wire for wire when i did it.

So which ways correct?i would greatly appreciate any help.

    Cheers

Sorry just seen forum rule No.8 which may cause problems with getting a answer.

Just conflicting info in supplied picture http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/media/ca … ontrol.jpg from here and how the manufacturer installed piece is wired up.

If you took photos of the original and the replacement is the same part then fit as you took off.
how do you know this other model is the same build as yours ?

If your way works then don’t change it.

    Hi,
thanks for the input. I have know idea if its the same model i just thought maybe i didn’t do it right the first time.

im pretty sure i took pics and swapped wire for wire the first time.

After seeing the picture above for the same part where the 2 blue wires attach to the fan i thought the wiring may of been incorrect on mine (blue and a white wire to fan) after installing the replacement part the first time,it did work though. i didnt want to make a mistake second time around if it was wrong.
