    Machine starts to fill,then when wash motor should cut in prog aborts & drains out.Error code A7 appears.
    A7 refers to water inlet block or turbine brake device(flow meter)fault.This checks out ok for continuity.
    The wash/circulation motor is worn out,so suspect this is causing machine to abort?
    Had a similar prob on another Hotpoint dishwasher earlier,which filled,then drained after a few minutes,also with a worn out motor! In both cases motor does not even begin to cut in!

    Motor failure incidence is very high on these. :rolls:

    Motor replaced,still A7 fault code.
    Replaced air brake turbine…job done!
