    The fan at the top of the oven has become very noisy, though it is still turning. Does anyone know what part this is? I haven’t been able to find it listed anywhere.

    If you can give us all the numbers from the rating plate we may be able to find it for you as there’s not much comes up under FCSM6.

    There are also a couple of bar codes – I’m not sure if they would help?

    Just to be clear, it is the fan at the top. Not the one at the rear of the oven.

    At that price, I need to think about whether it’s worth it. I might just out up with the noise until it fails completely and then buy a new oven.

    It’s a Whirlpool.

    Dave can probably get you that a bit cheaper but probably not a huge amount as it looks like a special one. Worth a try though as he can source stuff well so I will ask him to have a look.

    I’m not sure that is the right fan motor on Buy Spares, the two bar codes you found, let me have the one beginning 85 please.
