    Hi,
I have a hotpoint BCI450 and after the last wash it appeared that the upper basket items were still slightly dirty. It has performed flawlessly up until now.

I checked the arm wasn’t blocked and could rotate freely, however on closer inspection it appears that where the arm (its feed pipe) connects into the back of the dishwasher when you push the basket back is rather loose. Should there be some kind of seal or o-ring to receive the spigot from the spray arm assembly. I seem to remember that this has always been a snug fit.

If so, would anyone know the part number (or size if its just an o-ring!)

    Many thanks,
    Ian

    Hi Ian,

    Is it this you need:

Normally the seal in the nut is the problem 🙂

    Perfect, thank you.

Just unscrewed and the seal is perished and split, should have done this first :boops:
