    Hi all,

Just after some advice, I have been looking at two siemens machines.

A Siemens WM14E461GB (I assume this is new as could find no reviews)
A Siemens WM14Q390GB (excellent reviews, best buy I note)

The reason for this brand is mainly the 5 year warranty or it would have been a Bosch,I cannot decide between the two though.

The main query is do either of the above have a sealed drum? or do they have a split tub? I have looked for this info but failed for both models.

    EXTRA info:

I think we will use the machine between 5-7 times a week, two people household. No special requiremets and it will be on a concrete floor in utility.

Initially I wanted Miele or ISE, however my BEKO wm5120 Has gave up last week. Its christmas and among other things it has broke at the worst time so I cannot stretch to this.

In fairness it survived 5 years and when checking it I did find a allen key in the filter……. Basically stopped spinning so need quick replacement.

    Thanks in advance!

The former has a split tub (handy when you leave Allen keys about) the later is a welded tub.

    HTH?

    Thank you very much sir!

    Siemens WM14E461GB it is !

Yep the allen key was rusty, took me forever to get the filter off as it was jammed solid. Pretty sure I know how it ended up there, helped a friend move house a month or two ago and took my allen keys to dismantle things! Was obviously in a pocket somewhere.

Site seems an excellent resource, think I will stick about and gain some knowledge for when the another product stops working!
