    I opened the door to washing machine to find a bit of smoke coming out and a slight burning smell ( the wash had finished).
    I left it a while and just put it on a spin cycle to see if it was still working. It was fine but it looks like the drum isn’t sitting square.
    Is this something that is likely to be easy to sort out.

    Usually the drum support spigot cracks and the stainless inner drum then does an elliptical orbit. It then rubs on the grey rubber door boot, hence the smell of burning rubber. Synopsis : Not good news! 🙁

    Thank yon Martin. I think I will just buy a new one. I guess someone with the know how could fix it or would it be better to just dump it. In Cardiff if someone wants it.
    I was looking at getting a washer dryer instead. Was going to go for this one http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/home-appliances/laundry/washer-dryers/WD806U4SAGD/EU £570 anygood?
