Thanks to the very helpful advice on this forum I’ve replaced the heating element on my JLWM1203 and it’s working fine.

But, how do I reset the last engineer’s error code E69?

Turn the selector dial to the tenth position then press and hold both the start button and the nearest option button and hold for at least five seconds. Release buttons then turn selector to off.

Theres no need to reset the last error for the appliance to run, any new error will overwrite it, and engineers with SideKick software on their laptops can read previous errors anyhow.

Thanks – I did discover that it would run anyway, and then it occurred to me that, as you say, any new error would overwrite it!
