    I’ve just fitted a new heater assembly to my Hoover HDV6 tumble dryer as it kept cutting out with a sharp crack after 4-5 minutes but it hasn’t cured the fault. Has anyone got any idea what might be wrong?

    Check the mains suppressor, just under the lid

    Less than a tenner if I remember right, may not be that though but worth a check

    Many thanks to Andy Jones from Teddy E, fitted a new suppressor two days ago Andy as you suggested and it’s working perfectly again, so grateful for the advice many thanks Andy 😀
