Hotpoint FFA60 Fridge/Freezer Problem

Hi,

I wonder if someone migh have any advice in resolving this. The fridge compartment of my hotpoint fridge/freezer is not cooling/freeing but the freezer is. Also the normal red temperature light on the unit is not showing and the light bulb in the fridge has gone off as well. Also the usual operating sound could not be heard from the fridge but only the freezer and a lot quieter.

The appliance was bought 10 years ago but I have come across the door of the fridge being left open atimes recently. Please does anyone know what might be done to remedy this. Thank you for your valued comments. Liz
