    Our machine is just 6 months past its 2 year warranty and starts any cycle okay but then resets the clock back to the full cycle time which flashes. Trying to switch to e.g.a spin cycle doesn’t work immediately though if left switched off for 10 mins or so it is possible to put the load on spin for 13 mins.

    Professional advised it needed a new heating element though the machine ran for 30 mins on 90 yesterday and definitely heated the water before cutting back to start. You could feel the heat by touching the door.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Perhaps theres a fault on the element like a short circuit to earth. Or NTC is defective, may I suggest that you heed the Professional advice given. Or at least get a professional to inspect it.
