I have a stoves serial no 050507076 double oven.it has a rotating gas fan in the back of each oven. I think its very rare as I cannot find any info online. Problem is that it is tempramental ignition. Sometimes the fans spins but dont ignite I.e no sparking occurs. It is an electric auto ignition with no pilot light. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be and how to fix it?
    Thanks

You need to be a Gas Safe registered engineer to work on a Gas product, I suggest that you employ a Gas Safe registered Engineer to look at it for you.

The number you quote 050507076 isn’t a Ser’ number, its the product number. You have a Roto Star type gas oven, tell the engineer this info when you give them the details.

Thats great thanks for the info. Called the Stoves helpline who were very helpful and said it may be the pcb circuit board. offered an engineer inc parts and labour for £135. May end up going with that.

It could be several things, maybe even a blocked intake fan. But unfortunately you can’t do any work to the Gas end of it if you are not registered.
