    Morning all, I’m in need of some advice. This morning, my washing machine was making a funny noise as it spun then it tripped all the electrics in the house.
    I can get it to take in water but it won’t rotate the drum at all on any programme.

    My question is, is it worth repairing given that A) it’s 8 years old, and B)the lcd display on it died about 3/4 years ago and I never bothered to get it fixed (!) so now I can’t read any error codes that it might be trying to tell me 🙁 ???

    if, as I suspect, it might be time for a new one, any suggestions as to a suitable replacement? I don’t mind paying for reliability (but maybe not as much as a meile 😉 )

    Check out the motor would be my first move.
