machine not filling with water

    We had to disconnect and move our washing machine to have a new floor fitted.

    It has now been reconnected but when we tried to do a wash today it did not fill with water.

    Any advice before we call out the repairer?

    Check taps are tuned on, pluged in and turned on.
    Pull machine forward a few inches to make sure pipes are not kinked.
    Please post make and model number.

    KB,

    Another thought on this….If the stopcocks you turned off had those little red and blue levers on them, they may have broken as you turned them off, therefore they may not actually now be on!! 💡

    Belated thanks for your help – problem now solved. The taps were not fully turned on. 😳
