Sheaths on the four prongs of burner are too tight and I can’t
get the prongs out using pliers and screwdriver. Any special technique or tools required?

    Many thanks,

    Mark

Model number, product number perhaps, what is a sheath that you speak of,.
Even post a picture of the burner may help.

If its a Gas appliance you need to be Gas Safe registered to do any repairs on it.
