This is a recently bought machine (brand new) which displayed code F-11 after a ‘super wash’.

I switched the machine off then on and did a rinse/spin cycle with no problems. I’m still a bit worried though…

Anyone know what the code means? Should I really worry?

Additional info: the machine fills/drains perfectly OK

    F -11 is a drain out problem,

Check your plumbing for blockages, or outlet hose for kinks or siphoning

    Thanks Clyde!

It’s newly plumbed in… by me 😕 The connection point for the outlet isn’t in a good place (previous house owner’s poor plumbing) so I guess I’ll need to sort that out.

    Thanks for your help 😀

P.S. Is there a list of all the codes anywhere? Just in case…

The code lists are a guide for enginners and only available to engineers in the trade. Any more problems keep this site bookmarked

Mmm, the codes for many pieces of equipment are only available to engineers, yet they seem to migrate into the public domain…

What Clyde means is they are an engineers guide only and not a definitive diagnostic tool.

We can only give you a point in the right direction.

F-11 as was pointed out is a “no drain” situation which in turn can lead to many different scenarios causing the same fault to appear and is pretty much the simplest one of all to rectify 😀

I hope that clarifies this a little 😉

    Dave.
