    Can anybody tell me what the AL-03 error message means for the Hotpoint DWM75 dishwasher? The Hotpoint service desk are not able to tell me and say that I must pay for a £90 engineer. I would like to avoid this, if possible. Thanks

    It means it’s not draining Huw.

    can I just ask….. if the AL03 has come up…. and means its not draining… is there no way to open up with dishwasher to get the stuff out…. or will it be totally full with water….

    sorry if this sounds stupid but i am a woman hahaha

    You can open the door quite safely. Even when ‘full’ the water level is a couple of inches or cms if you prefer below the lowest door level.
