    Hello, can anyone help please, I have a hygena dishwasher in my kitchen, model unknown, it has been there about ten years without any problems until now. When any programe is set the washer will not work with the door closed but when the door is opened a few inches the programe will start, upon closing the door the programe will stop just before the top catch is engaged. Thank you

    It sounds like you need a new door latch Margy and possibly the control panel as well.

    Can you post the model please (APL??? ADP??? or similar) from around the door and I’ll check further for you.

    Thank you for your speedy response, I was waiting for e mail to notify me of a reply! I found the label on the door edge the info is 5708 HNG82 then below APL 8212 and in a box 4 51 11400 does this help? thanks again Margy
