ParticipantBeen to this machine today and am a bit flummoxed. When switched on the rinse aid and check water lights flash for a few seconds then nothing.Trying it again the lights flash again and stay flashing but no main display. Switched off and on once more, no lights and a few seconds later relay clicks from main board and full display, all works fine!
Customer says it’s been doing it on and off for a few weeks.
Any clues?
The machine isn’t heavily used either.January 16, 2014 at 4:32 pm #407704Martin

A bit of a long shot… have you tried plugging it into a different socket. You can get weird faults like this with iffy points.

Thanks guys. I’ve checked the socket and the machine end connection, but my thoughts are also leading to main board fault. Having not had a problem with this series I want to be as certain as possible before replacing a major component.

I don’t suppose that,at the point where the display is off, a simple tap of the main board would bring it back to life? Thus confirming the board at fault.

Is this a new style model ? Remember that if you get a control module , it may need programming .
