    Hi!
    My Hoover VHD 614 Nr. 31001528 07090571 Type FCE2 stops in the middle of different programms and shows 9 LED flashes. But even if it doesnt stop the AA40°C programm takes 5-6 hours and not 3, what is said in the manual.In this and other forum I have found, that this error code 9 means a problem with a triac on the control board controlling motor action. I called a hoover authorized engineer to come, and he diagnosed with a laptop a motor triac failure. Costs 50€ for the diagnose! He said it would be better to buy a new washing machine instead changing the motor.
    So I tried to change only the triac on the control board but I didnt help.

    Articels here said, that fault codes can be right, but may not and changing the control board or the motor must not solve the problem.
    Should I buy a new one, or did anybody have any suggestions?

    Buy a new machine and steer well clear of Hoover.
