Is there any regulations about having a cooker next to the window: window to the left of the cooker and then sink right to the right of the cooker? We have a tiny kichen in our house and will be remodelling, this layout would work best space-wize, also there’s no extractor fan so having a cooker next to the window I could always open it when cooking. I imagine a gas cooker would not be safe, as the flame can blow out, but what about induction cooker? (thinking about integrating it rather than having a free-standing one). With induction cooker – can you have your sink rigt next to it?

I found some forums that suggest guidelines of 30cm either side of the cooker to the window, 60 cm to the sink. I am wondering if there’s any regulations, or just the guidlines? Also would distance to the window be measuret to the actual window, or the edge of the window sill?

Thank you for taking time to read this.
