Evening all, is it normal on these for the dispenser motor to click around whilst draining? Not that familiar with them but this struck me as odd.

Sounds like its not found its position. After rinse in should be in a position and not move until another wash needs water intake. If you look down from above at it you will see numbers 1-2-3 etc, it should move to a position determined by the programme selected to fill watercompartment. If it doesn’t get the position correctly then theres no feedback of where it is and I suppose it will continue running until it gets the position.
There could be plastic gears broken or worn in the little gearbox meaning its not moving to position.
