for my LG fridge freezer by our insurance company but have been waiting nearly 2 weeks as they as they are out of stock. trying to get them to just write it off as im pretty sure its fairly pricey? any ideas?
Insurance companies have a tendency in dragging their feet (it’s what they do best!) and as you are reliant on their solving the problem I suggest you get onto them. Pester them daily if that’s what it takes in getting your fridge sorted (or replaced – and they will go the cheaper option of course). 😉
so do you have any idea on what they cost? just for reference. we have been told not to contact hem as they have 21 days from when we first informed them to repair it or they have to replace it. amazing what happens when you get the right person on the phone. thanks for your help

What do you mean, to regass your fridge or to replace it?
You have given us little information to go on and we would be better off knowing what the MODEL NUMBER of you fridge is, EXACTLY what the problem is and who said it needed a “new gas canister” anyway?
One way of getting them out to you fairly quickly would be to tell them theres a smell of gas all the time and you constantly feel sick.
The gas does’nt smell really and won’t make you sick but it might stir them into some kind of action.
