Had a customers wire to the valve break and short out on the casing. It has blown the 20pin IC on the board, I can replace it but the problem is where the IC has blown it’s taken most of the part number and also the make of it off. Johnmac kindly sent me a service manual but the components on the PCB weren’t on there. Does anyone have any suggestions on trying to find what’s fitted or does it look like it has to be a new board.

    Regards, Liam

If that is the main IC on the board then it is likely to require programming with a program that you won’t be able to get.

It isn’t the main IC so fingers crossed shouldn’t need to be reprogrammed. Just need to know what the part number is but it doesn’t look promising at the moment.
