    I have a Baumatic integrated combination microwave oven, model BMC 253SS which I’ve had a problem with for months. The microwave part keeps cutting out after about 3 mins, all lights etc. go out & I have to wait perhaps 6 or so mins before it comes back on again.

    Unfortunately Baumatic went into liquidation before they could send an engineer out to me, but I understand the problem is supposed to be a thermo something or other.

    Now Hoover have taken over Baumatic I’ve spent goodness knows how long on the phone to the service no. supplied by them, but nobody ever answers & I get fed up after about 15 mins & hang up.

    I’m just wondering if it would be possible for me to find an engineer myself to fix it? If so I wouldn’t know where to start looking to try to track one down, so if anybody could give me advice I’d be thankful. I live in Greater London if that helps.
