    Just out of curiosity have Diamond H gone out of business? Nearly every time I need an energy reg I get another make and all I can find is their name as part of BI Group.

    Yes that is a shame. They used to be a good company with a very helpful technical guy, who’s name escapes me for the moment, who’d advise on replacement equivalents for obsolete oven thermostats. Now for simmerstats we’ve got to use Ego replacements with their stupid terminal nomenclature which is different for different types of regulator.
