    Hello,
I have a Bosch WFO2466GB/01 washing machine and the shock absorbers have lost their resistance to movement. I have had a look at the shock absorber mountings on my machine and the bottom of each one is held to the chassis by a bolt which can be removed without problem. The top fixing on each one is to the casing of the drum. There is no bolt fixing at this point and the moulding of the drum appears to go through the top eye of the shock absorber. There is no pin that can be removed to release the top eye. When removing the old shock absorber do I need to drill out the centre to release it and then attach the new one using a bolt or the pin supplied through the drilled hole. The only other way I can see to replace it would be to separate the two halves of the drum. Any advice how to go about this would be very helpful.

Yes simply drill out the moulding to fit the bolt kit.
