E66 appears as error code.Meaning the heating element power relay contacts are remaining closed. I assume the power relay is on the main pcb? Does this mean a new board is required?

Error codes are just a rough guide don’t forget.

    Yes.

Again not 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} guarantee it will fix the fault unless you can establish by testing the relay on the board that the terminals are welded together? If they were then the heater would have burnt out also of course.

Random, unrelated error codes can be a major diagnostics headache. Earth leaks can cause such a phenomenon so be sure and Megger everything before you replace anything. 😉

Thanks Martin.Heater element tests ok with mega. Happened to have ZWD12270W boards(main pcb & smaller dryer board)off a stripped machine.Have fitted these & all seems well.(tested on spin)
Will mega motor & dryer element + check orig. board relay for fused contacts before testing fully. Not sure if fitting a 1200 pcb on a 1600 machine will cause any issues?

I’ve no idea on that one sorry. Light blue touch paper and stand well back I suppose. 😉
