dishwasher DWD5414 – drain pump keeps working

I had a blocked pipe underneath kitchen sink. As a result the water stayed inside dishwasher overnight. I unblocked the pipe & removed the water in the morning however dishwasher seemed to make strange noise on the bottom. I poured around 10 litres of water inside, the pump removed the water but didn’t stop working (making noise). What can I do to set dishwasher on the programme and start working as normal? I tried to reset water hardness settings. It didn’t help.
