    Re: WD440 5th light flashing.

    Is this the fifth light of the left hand vertical lights?

    Fifth light is not a recognised error code.

    Thanks iadom

    Yes it is the 5th light on the left hand side. I have fixed 4 faults on this machine in the past with no problem. I have gone through everything today but can’t correct this fault. Have run out of ideas as the fith light is not suppose to be a fault as you said. None of the other buttons work either. The power light stays on and you can’t even turn it off. And all the other buttons will not respond either. Checked PCB and no signs of burning or water damage etc. any other ideas would be great otherwise I think it will be time for a new one. Thanks for your help.

    Re: WD440 5th light flashing.

    Just realised it’s the elusive F06 error code. It was listed for years as not applicable but is now recognised as an error code.

    F06 (F6): –

    Door lock fails to close / open, door lock PTC triac open/ closed, mains frequency signal fault, mains power signal fault.

    – Check for water leaks that may affect connectors on the main PCB causing the relative contacts to short;
    – Check Door lock terminal board (any problems due to
    aggression caused by manufacturing chemical residues that may
    cause short circuits);
    – door lock wiring;
    – Check door lock;
    – Renew PCB.
