ModeratorThis question came from a customer I went to today who’s daughter has a Smeg dishwasher.
Model DF612WE . Not seen it but apparently she has been a bit heavy handed and has pushed the mains on/off button into the console.
I know that Smeg facias are a bit plasticky and prone to breaking. does this sound as the facia is broken or will it just need a new switch?
Jim.

It’ll be the fascia Jim, almost for sure. But, it’s coming up as NLA for me.

Strange, I’m sure she said her daughter has only had it 2 years. ❓

AWS says NLA.
Masterpart, NS.
Connect, NS but listed with an SRP of £57.
Qualtex, not listed.
HTM, not listed.
Homespares, not listed.
Servevast don’t list it on the customer site that I can find.
Part number comes up as 763739863 but that could possibly be wrong.
I thought all the DF612’s were old though.

It is only a recent machine, 3 or 4 years old at the most. Console is 763739863, listed at Masterpart as out of stock but around £25.00
However the console is not at fault, it was the P (programme button) that had vanished.
Fault is a broken led/light guide part number 769350131.
Black plastic door handle is also broken. Thanks again to Lawrence for the pdf. 8)
