Morning, i don’t have a model number for this however here’s the problem. the inside isn’t all steel, the base is plastic and at the back where the steel is sealed to the plastic base it’s leaking. would it be as it appears and just a case of running a bead of adhesive sealant at the rear (outside) or are we talking about separating the two section to re seal it?

    many thanks

    David.

These are well known for this problem, the plastic is the base unit and the tub sits into a groove, the problem is that the plastic “warps” so there is bugger all you can do with that. You will have a bit of a job to seal it because the moisture usually creeps out at the corners but worth a try.Not sure if the base unit is a spare part for you model if it is then it will no doubt be “Bosch” pricy 😯

I went ahead and used PU18 adhesive sealant and after three cycles it’s still dry. Shocked though that Bosch would move away from a one piece unit. Ta for your reply.
