    Hello,

    does the Belling IDW 450 use the same motor as the Belling IDW 604?

    Have you tried a capacitor on it, new capacitor normally kicks them into action.

    Yes, i will look at that .

    However, I do not have the machine in front of me – it is some 70 miles away at a friends house who is no good with technical things so he cannot tell me or show me the motor

    I have a 604 motor. I would like to know if it is the same motor IF the motor is the problem.

    I could then swap them out
