If we were to buy a dishwasher it would have to go to the right of the back door but the washing machine, sink and the pipe connections are on the left side. Would the plumbing for the dishwasher still work if the pipes have to go down under the back door (in front of the frame) and then back up to the pipe connections near the other appliances? Is gravity an issue?

I’ve had mixed responses on other forums and hope you can settle this as it determines whether we buy a dishwasher or not.

    Many thanks!

Gravity is an issue but more importantly you must bear in mind that you CANNOT extend the flexible drain hose on most dishwashers. That a waste pipe should be close by so that the hose can hook into the stand pipe. OR that the dishwasher stands alongside an adjacent drain coupling ( i.e. Sharing the sink waste pipe with a linked coupling)

A long length of extension drain hose going up and down around the kitchen is NOT an option.
