When first activating the timer the machine drains, but does not move on to the next cycle which is a rinse fill I think.
If I move it manually it will then rinse fill and mostly carries on through the complete wash cycle, but occasionally it will not move to the actual rinse cycle. So have I got a failing timer or is there a sensor not activating.
    Any ideas please? A.J.

Don’t think it anything to do with the timer. It could be the float sticking in the fill chamber (left hand side panel off for access) or the anti-flood switch activated ( if the metal base has water in it?) Also check that the black rubber sump hose is clear (they get gunged up with fat) and finally, the wiring loom that runs behind the door panel (the wires break as the door opens and closes.

But, no, don’t think it is a timer fault. 😀

Ok so today the machine tripped the supply when I opened the door. I can see that the main brown feed to the on/off switch has fractured and shorted out where it bends. Is it possible to rewire just this one brown cable or would it have to be a compete loom? Probably not worth the cost of a new loom though!
