    Hi,
    I have purchased and replaced the dryer belt for my condenser dryer but it seems I need to adjust the tensioner pulley as the belt looks too big (it’s right one). Any help greatly received.
    Dryer I’d Hotpoint Aquarius TDC 30P 6kg

    No adjustment whatsoever on these. Only two possibilities, you have the wrong belt or have fitted it incorrectly, no other possible option.

    Correct part number is 1701141 or C00095613.

    PS. There should be two pulleys. 😉

    Sounds like you’ve got it put around the pulleys wrong

    This is a rough (very rough) diagram I did some years ago to show the position of the pulleys, belt and motor shaft.
