    Hi,

Got a Hoover HNC382 dryer which is stopping with the start/stop light flashing and the clean filter light comes on. It runs for 10/15 mins, and is heating (maybe too much?). Water drawer, fluff filter and condensing unit all A.O.K. Could it be faulty thermistor/stat (although metered OK)…these come all together with the heater unit for this machine. Anyone had this problem or know the answer?

    Cheers,

    John.

Funnily enough yes and it was the p.c.b. Runs one way for 10/15 mins then stops dead. (At the point where it should start reverse tumble) When you fit the new board you’ll see it stop and reverse at that point.

One day we will get trade members to post technical questions in Trade Technical. Meanwhile it’s left to the mods to sort it (if they spot them).

    Thanks Nige, valuable advice…

Everyone else, sorry it was the slip of a finger that put it in wrong category…
Simple fault finding? No problem, thank you. :p

Ordered selco pcb 40005058. Does anyone know if this is preprogrammed out the box?

    Cheers all 😆
