My Lavamat 74630-W is dead. No lights, no action. It had blown the fuse, which I have now replaced and has not blown again. I have measured 240v on the output side of the mains filter.

Before it died we had been having problems with the machine failing to complete washes. The door seal had recently been replaced, and I assumed that the door switch had been disturbed. I’ve now checked the switch (please correct me if I’m wrong here – I’ve assumed that the thinner wires are an electromagnetic door latch mechanism and the thicker wires switching) and can find no continuity between the contacts for the thicker of the four wires. However I seem to remember than the panel LEDs remained illuminated even if the door was open, so maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree here.

    Nick,

According to the wiring diagram for this model, for the door switch there are only 3 wires to it (Orange, Blue & Pink) 😕

Orange to the Main Module, Blue to the Pressure Switch and Pink to the Rotary Selector Switch. :con:

I suspect whatever or however your switch is wired that the Main Module has taken a turn for the worst though 🙁
