    Hi
I have a hoover wdyn856dg washer dryer. At the end of the dry cycle it is displaying e07. I am a refrigeration/air con engineer myself so im sure i can repair it but hoover wont tell me what the code signifies. Any help and guidance would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Dependant on what electronic board is fitted MDL or Invensys it means…..

    (MDL) – Jammed Motor’s Rotor and/or Wiring.

(INVENSYS) – Defective Door Safety Lock Device (blocked closed) and/or Wiring.

Thank you for the quick reply martin. I’ll check which board then check all relevant wires to see if anything is loose. Where is the board located? Is it behind the display or elsewhere. Dont wanna remove any panelling or parts i dont have to. I havent started taking it apart yet but is the door catch east enough to access?
    Many thanks again

Why are you checking the board, just out of interest?

Thought i had to identify the board to identify what the code means?

Nope, just check the motor AND the door interlock, that way you’ve covered all options. 😉

Thanks for the help martin. Its actually stopped giving the error code now so im guessing likely a problem with the door lock. If it happens again i’ll know where to look.
    Cheers
