    My freezer is some 5-6 years old so out of warranty.

    The temperature has been erratic for days, never now goes below -7 and is now on -1. Power is on and compressor is running continuously. It is no help to turn on Quick Freeze mode.

    Food has been moved.

    How can I diagnose the fault?
    Who makes this model?
    Can I access the service manual?

    Hi . More likely a defrost problem if it’s a frost free model ( no I haven’t checked to see ).

    If it is a frost free then empty the fridge freezer and leave off with the doors open for 24 hrs then restart . If it works then you have a problem on the defrost system but it will probably last another week or so before it starts to fail again .
