Electra wd1100a draining problem

    Yesterday the machine started making a funny noise. I isolated this to the drain pump (took of power to pump and noise stopped). So i removed the top part of the pump and replaced power to see if it was working and it does spin. I removed the tray at the front and there doesnt seem to be a blockage. So why doesn’t the pump expel the water in the drain?

    Nic,

    The pump will need closer inspection, sounds like a button or coin the offending item causing the noises 😉
