ParticipantHi guys,
had a look on bsh site and note they only list the “bearing cross” (283726) and not any bearing kits.
Any bosch guys know:
1/ do i *have* to order the £160 bearing cross?2/ if not what size bearings do these carry,
3/ where i can get a suitable seal for it too (would be ideal if you have a bosch code for the seal) as it also doesnt appear to be listed.
4/ Also are these the same dis-assembly method as the old wff2001s? or are they more like the smeggy integrated types that are horrid to do?
5/ have you got any other tips when it comes to doing this?
cheers in aDVANCe

I think they are very much like the WFB bearing kits shown in the UKW shop TBH. The bearings are standard van stock stuff anyway and the seal can be bought from a local bearing supplier anyway.

i figured the bearings themselves will be fairly standard and probably have some on the shelf somewhere, but its always finding the right seal that causes me issues and delays things and unfortunately this needs to be a pretty fast turnaround job as the machine is being sold with the house and needs to be quiet by end of next week 🙁
Id happily just order the cross but it makes it almost BER, and the cust said hed rather give the buyer £250 towards a new machine if it was gonna be almost that to repair. I can cut my losses, but then i lose out on £90 for 2hrs work, and cant really afford to turn work like that away

right,
well machine is back here to base. looks like more grief than i thought. I had hoped i could work from the back, but there is next to no clearance to get a torx in for the upper RHS (if viewing from rear) bolts that sit neatly under the dryer fan box.
any seasoned pro tips? or is it a front off tub out and bugger about pita?
