Seem to be having a run of pesky Mieles at mo !!!
Old G97 Plus – inlet/drain light comes on after about 30 secs – thinking flow meter maybe BUT thing will not drain, done usual, removed cap/non return valve – all clear. Removed pump, all clear, removed pipe to hose, all clear, removed hose, all clear, removed trap, all clear.
HELP !!
Also W863 problem too !

Normally the counter/flowmeter reeds switch is failing to pick up signal from tacho magnet on water wheel, sometimes they move off the seating and don’t pick up the tacho correctly. Check its seated correctly, and check that the small loom cable is tight at both ends, where it connects to main board & flowmeter, slightly pinch (carefully) the connectiions with pliers to make sure they are making good contact.
