Although the freezer section of my fridge/freezer works perfectly, the fridge does not get cold. As a result, the new compressor that was fitted about six weeks ago has been working continuously ever since. Although a new thermostat was fitted, the compressor is on continuously because the fridge is not getting cold enough to activate the compressor.
I am also worried that the fact that the compressor is working non stop it may be shortening its life.

It’s a Phillips (Whirlpool) ARB 503. It’s part of a built in kitchen, so I’m really desperate to get it working again. I’m also worried that the new compressor that was fitted about six weeks ago and has been working without switching off is being potentially damaged. This model is no longer available, Phillips was taken over by Whirlpool, but original parts are still available.
Very grateful for any help you can give. Thank you
