    I have a used Bosch SGI45E12UK/10 Dishwasher and the display seems to be faulty. The digital numbers do not count down and it seems that the two buttons for delayed start and half load do not result in any display change when they are pressed. The dishwasher seems to go into its wash mode – water fills, heats up and the spray arms rotate – then it empties.

    Sometimes there are missing segments on the display and sometimes the display flickers and goes dim.

    I suspect the Control Module but would really appreciate any help anyone can offer.

    It does sound very much like the unit needs replacing. But it needs checking to see if it’s just a connector block that is loose or a dry joint on the PCB. A replacement unit is HERE 😀

    Thanks Martin. How do I get into the control module to check the connector blocks and dry joints on the pcb please?

    Power disconnected then remove door outer panel. The rest of the procedure pretty straightforward. 😀
