    Hi – I have a Siemens washing machine SIWAMAT XLi1240 which is taking much longer than it should on the easy care cycle – around twice as long as it used to. It does eventually get through all the stages of the programme. It is not finishing when I select the wool cycle though, where it seems to stick on the wash and I have to manually move it to rinse and spin to finish. It does not start at all if I select the ”intense’ button. Any advice on would be gratefully received. Many thanks.

    Not heating probably? New heater required ?

    Thanks for this suggestion, it’s appreciated – hadn’t realised this might be a possibility so will check.
